I’m writing excitedly to tell you that I have a couple really fun events coming up that you’ll definitely want to get in on. These days, with everything so uncertain, it’s nice to know that online events are still very real and ready to offer a decent stand-in to in-person parties and larger gatherings. So here’s the lowdown:
#1: YA Summer Bookfest
Where: Facebook HERE
When: Friday July 24th- Sunday July 26th, 9am-10pm CDT
What: Lots of authors hosting games, giveaways, and livestreams to connect with readers and other authors. My segment will be July 24th (Friday) from 11am-12pm EST (10am-11am CDT) and I would love to see you interacting online. There will be tons of other stellar authors participating as well, but if you’ve been wanting to read one of my books, I’ll be doing a raffle for one. There’s also a page-wide grand prize which should be really awesome as well, since all the authors are donating books and other prizes for that as well! In other words, don’t miss out!
#2: Instagram Live with the Voice Actress
Where: Instagram Live, HERE (but you can read about the event on Facebook too)
When: Friday August 7th, 3-4pm EST
What: Angelina’s latest time travel book, “Forgetting What I Couldn’t Remember” was recently produced in audio by the dynamic and talented voice actress Chelsea Kwoka, of Cartoon Network and other voiceover fame. Join both creative ladies on Instagram live to hear about their processes – both writing and narrating – this intensely emotional and powerful story of new love, old bullies, and continuous personal growth. There will also be time for a Q+A as well!
I’m really excited for these events, as it’s a really great way to interact with my readers in the absence of in-person book signings (which I normally would be doing a ton of this time of year). I mean it’s not ideal, but it’s a heck of a lot better than nothing, so I’m definitely grateful for sure.
