Hello friends! I guess it’s been a hot minute since we’ve talked about my writing / next steps, and I guess I owe you a title reveal, huh? Okay. My current project is called…. FORGETTING WHAT I COULDN’T REMEMBER
It’s an urban time travel romance dealing with bullies and childhood dynamics into adulthood. I loved exploring the psychological effects of the passage of time, growing up, and coming of age through my own life experiences so far. This is why I’ve been saying this is my most personal project yet. I’ve literally had to regress back into my middle school experiences (and let me tell you, it was not an easy time for me).
I’m in the process of trying to link up with an anti-bullying charity of some sort, but not totally sure what or how I should go about that. If anyone has some ideas, let me know so that this book can make a difference in other kids’ lives who were bullied for years like I was.
The next thing you’ll see revealed is the cover. I’ve arranged for a very cool artist to design it, and I’m just as excited as you to see what she does with it! Stay tuned for updates on that.
