Flirting with Disaster in the Dog Days of Summer

I legit can’t believe it’s already August – why is it that summer always seems to fly by like nobody’s business? Or maybe that’s just how it feels here in New England where winter seems to rule the roost for a solid eight months out of the year. Either way, I’ve been hunkered over my laptop working on my next YA time-travel story, and I’m happy to report I’m probably about halfway through it already! I’m on track to release it probably by the end of the year or sometime in early 2020.

Having recently graduated from college, I’ve just been in a super weird headspace, because I’m in the process of trying to find a real job while continuing to juggle my various side-hustles and other responsibilities. And forget about having a social life – that never happens anymore LOL. But I’ve found that this weird headspace, although uncomfortable to live with, does yield some interesting ideas for writing what I’ve dubbed a very sassy allegorical reflection on my problematic grade-school past and the various discomforts that came with that on the social scene. Regardless, I’ll be sure to keep you updated on everything that I have going on.

In the meantime, I’ll take a moment to remind you that the audiobook for The Sorting Room (book 1 of The Upperworld Series) is now available on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes, so definitely grab a copy of that if you want. I have promo codes available too, just ask me for those! Here’s the link to find the audiobook for book one, as well as the paperbacks and kindle copies if those are more your thing: Final Audiobook Cover

OH AND ALSO, you can meet me THIS SATURDAY, 8/10 at Crescent Park in East Providence, RI from 11-6.

Yep, it’s true! You can come meet me to talk about my stories and nab a signed copy if that would interest you as a part of the LOOFF, a fun family-oriented outdoor arts festival. I would really love to meet you, hope to see you there!
