Graduation happened for me this past weekend, as did senior formal, and some partying in honor of graduation (and yes, that’s me with the pink hair. It was a bit of a quarter-life crisis, haha). Now that I’m officially done with school pretty much forever, I’m hoping to get a ton more writing done for my next WIP.
It was pretty surreal graduating magna cum laude when I was originally told I might not even get into the school I wanted to attend most of all. But basically, I did, I thrived, and proved them wrong. Mic dropped.
I’m in a pretty weird headspace, as I’m trying to push harder for my new WIP, but also look for a daytime gig (ya know, so I can officially “adult”. Weird, I know). But this is all very exciting!!! For my lovely readers, I have a BIG announcement.
You know The Upperworld Series? Well, very soon, it will all be available in AUDIO format!!! Yes, you heard me right – The Sorting Room is actually in production now, as books 2-3 will follow it soon after! I will keep you posted on all that stuff, and I can’t wait for you to hear the amazing voice actor that I’m collaborating with (I literally got chills when I heard her audition, seriously!!!). So yeah, that will be great! Get excited, everyone!
And my WIP is well, in progress. Nothing much to say about that now, except that it will involve time travel and I’m drafting it now, which is fun but very emotionally and mentally taxing as well.
Overall, heading into the summer with a lot of things to celebrate and work toward, so all is well. What have you been reading lately?
