So Now What?

Summer is in full swing (at least for me since I just finished school for the year) and I’m planning to start writing like crazy to get my next book out by the end of August. And for those of you who are new here, welcome! To bring you up to speed, my next book will be “The Rise of Onyx” (Book 3 of the Upperworld Series).

This next (and final) installment of my dystopian sci-fi fantasy series will be extra intense because I’ll need to research some important things to make the story as historically accurate as possible (and trust me when I tell you, researching is NOT AT ALL fun. Nope, not even a little. But it’s a necessary evil, I guess). Specifically, I’ll be researching Puritan life in the late 18th century, because that’s when Onyx’s mom lived as a human and Evander and Griffin will be constructing a time machine to scour Onyx’s past for… answers. I don’t want to give too much away!

But anyway, I guess all I’m saying is, GET EXCITED!!! If you’ve been following the series, you know that anyone who’s anyone is talking about it, and you’ll want to know what’s coming next so that your friends don’t spoil it for you. If you’re looking to catch up, I’ll attach the Amazon links below for your convenience: (Book 1) (Book 2)

I’m actually THE WORST about sitting down to write, often I find that there are so many other things I want to do or should be doing, but once the words start flowing, I remember why I embarked on this borderline crazy author journey in the first place – I’ve got stories to tell, and a crap ton of them. So I might as well get myself an audience ‘lest my head explode from all the plots banging around in there. Hope you’ll come along for the ride 😉
